LFR only makes you a 'worse' player, if you think of it as "LFR is easy and doesn't hurt, so I'm not going to do mechanics".

I did 90-LFR Ultrax on hunter + many many more on my RDruid/Lock. I used my time in LFR practicing my rotation in a 'live' raid environment over just standing infront of a dummy. I would do every mechanic as if it was normal/heroics.
